MILSAP Updates, Nov. 17, 2012

LATEST UPDATES

We have approved some great, new comments.

Frederic Juengling and Kathryn Walker Baker commented on Camp Iroquois, which may have been the location for Silver Valley. Glad we can put some Camp Iroquois alumni in touch with their memories, and maybe each other.

We also got a great comment about Hickory Hills, one of Michigan’s smaller areas that is still in operation. The comment was from Brad “Hoser” Miller, who is on the instructing staff there (and is also PSIA ed-staff!). Thanks, Brad, for the info and for helping keep one of our older skiing jewels alive.

We also got a comment from Greg Ellis about Summit/Kandahar. Greg used to work and ski there and later built a house on the property.

Keep those comments coming to help keep the memory of some great skiing times alive. Please also tell your friends about MILSAP and let them know they can post their comments here, too.

  1. How can I upload photos to your site?

    • MILSAP says:

Chris, if you go to the “About MILSAP” page (on the navigation bar at the bottom of the heading banner) you will find our email address. Please email any photos or videos you wish to send us, along with your comments about when and where they were taken and who is in them if they depict people you know. Alternatively, you can email us the url for any content that is stored on the web or you can place the link in your comment on our blog. WordPress does not allow direct uploads to the site except by administrators and we even moderate your comments to avoid filling up the site with spam. You can, however, post pictures and videos on our Facebook page. You will find that link in the panel on the right side of every page on our blog.

Thank you! I have emailed some photos, though I did not add any comments or info about them. Perhaps I will elaborate and re-send them.
        Chris V.
