On Jan. 4, 1968, The Cass City Chronicle printed the “AAA Michigan 1968 Winter Sports Fun Guide.” It listed the Gladstone Ski Park as having several slopes, 4 tows and night skiing.
Forty-five years later, The City of Gladstone is still operating the Gladstone Ski Hill. They have several beginner and intermediate runs, a T-bar, 3 rope tows and a wire rope tow, 3 tubing runs and a tubing lift, snowmaking and power grooming. They also have a terrain park and a half-pipe!
