Flint Parks and Recreation – Flint

I have oral reports of a rope tow operated by Flint in the 1950′s, but I have been unable to document this.  The tow was on a hill east of the sledding hill at Swartz Creek Golf Course in the area between Southwestern H.S. and the Happy Valley nature area behind MSD. This area currently contains Cronin Derby Downs, the soap box derby hill, but it was extensively re-contoured when I-69 and Southwestern High were built.

If you have any information about the location oh the ski hill or when it operated, please post it or contact us via the instructions on the About MILSAP pagge.
