On Dec. 10, 1970, The Cass City Chronicle published the 1971 AAA Michigan Winter Sports Fun List. It stated the Brock Park was 2 mi. west of Ionia on M-21 and offered limited skiing and tobogganing with a rope tow. On Feb. 3, 1966 they were listed in the same paper as having ski slopes, 2 toboggan runs, rope tow and skating.
Bertha Brock park is still in existence and is a beautiful park with summer facilities and X-C skiing in winter (but no tows).
If you have any information about lift-served skiing at Brock Park, please post it or send it to us via the directions on the About MILSAP page.
