Mulligan’s Hollow is a community run area in Grand Haven overlooking the Grand River. According to wikipedia:
Originally built in 1960 through the help of volunteers, it has provided kids, teens, and families a local, comparatively inexpensive location to enjoy snow sports. In 2009, the day-to-day operations were handed from the City of Grand Haven to a new, volunteer organization named the Ski Bowl Association in an effort to remove the financial burden from the city’s budget.
As I write this, Mulligans Hollow is open for skiing. The following picture is from their Facebook page.
If you have any information about the history of skiing at Mulligan’s Hollow, please leave a comment or send it to us via the directions on the About MILSAP page.
