Snow Valley had a long pioneering history as an alpine ski area in northern Michigan, but I have just learned that in the 1950’s, Snow Valley had a ski jump. I have not located any references to it or to any events held there, but I have found a picture of it on the Gaylord High School class of 1965 page which boasts many postcards of the Gaylord Area from the 1950’s and before.
